“Reaching out with gifts of grace and forgiveness, we preach, teach and confess Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind."
Preparation and Anticipation
Advent is a time to remember Jesus' arrival as the babe of Bethlehem, born in a manger, and a time to anticipate his promised second coming as Christ Triumphant.
Advent is also a time of preparation. We focus now on the eternal Christ, His presence in our lives through the Word, and through His body and blood in Holy Communion.
