Trunk-or-Treat 

     What a time we had of it in 2022!   Did it rain?  Oh, my yes.  But we had a great time--Many hands in service to the Lord.  We gave out 600 gift bags with 'Jesus Loves You' pencils, stickers, bookmarks and an invitation to visit Zion.  The church steps were transformed with pumpkins, hay bales, scare crows and corn stalks.  Six decorated trunks and one restored farm truck lined up to give out notes and candy with scripture, Christian books and smiles.  Our Zion corner was a beacon of light in many ways.     
     And this year of 2023 will be the same, only more and better, with plans for 800 gift bags and more cars on display too.  

Trunk-or-Treat 2023--More and Better!

CALL FOR CANDY--We're looking for at least 800 "fun size" candy treats...that's 20 something pounds of candy.  We're grateful for donations of any size.  Drop them off at the office or in the Narthex. 

JOIN US--Decorate your car and join us.  You'll be amazed.  This year we ask that you register your car so we can reserve a space for you.  

DECORATIONS--Corn stalks, pumpkins and gourds, decorations of all kinds are needed for the church steps and the corner garden.  You can drop them off on the prior Sunday, or anytime come to that.

Special thanks to Al and Richard for suffering the elements so the rest of us could stay dry. It wouldn't have been as much fun without you both.
