What we Believe

Palm Sunday: 9:00 a.m. Jesus makes a triumphant entry into Jerusalem, fulfilling Zechariah's prophecy. We celebrate with palm branches, hymns, and readings, that reflect on Christ’s humility and mission.
Maundy Thursday: 7:00 p.m. Jesus humbly attends to his disciples, commanding them to love one another, and institutes the sacramental mystery of the Lord's Supper. We mark the occasion with Holy Communion, reflecting on Christ’s betrayal, and crucifixion, fulfilling God’s plan for humanity’s redemption.
Good Friday: 7:00 p.m. Jesus is arrested, tried, condemned, crucified, and dies in anguish as he forgives those who know not what they do. We remember this solemn day in scripture readings, hymns, and reflect on God’s plan for salvation through Jesus Christ’s atonement.
Easter is the oldest of the church’s feasts, and the source of all others. The ancient name for Easter is “Pascha,” from the Greek and Hebrew words for Passover, “for Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed” (1 Corinthians 5:7).
In Christ’s resurrection, sin and death are defeated. The empty tomb proclaims hope, renewal, and God’s promise of eternal life.
